WHAT is Maker Faire Vientiane ?
Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth—a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. The First Maker Faire in VTE, Vientiane 2025. That is given the official license from Maker Faire, US. The event will run by The Makerbox Lao & our local and international partners.
Startup Career Fair 2025 is the event at Tokyo Innovation Base-TIB & SUSHI Tech that had the 102 Startups from Japan and International and 85 pitches on the stages to give their information for who are interesting to work in Startups companies. The event was on Saturday, 1st March in 2025
Shockwave Medical, Inc. is a medical device startup out of Stanford Biodesign that successfully exited Johnson & Johnson for approximately 2 trillion yen (13.1 billion dollars). University of Tokyo Biodesign will accelerate health tech innovation again this year!
They will be holding a pitch event for researchers aiming to implement health tech technology in society. The presenters will be looking for fundraising, founding members, research partners, or component suppliers, so please use this as an opportunity to match up with them.
In addition to the pitch presentations, we are also planning lectures, panel sessions, poster exhibitions, and networking on the day.
